The FDA should ensure that any drug that enters the marketplace be both effective and safe. Just like any other drug, biosimilar/bioidentical drugs should be thoroughly evaluated such that all claims made by the manufacturer regarding usage, dosage, contraindications, side effects and so forth are verified to be complete and accurate. However, the FDA should not impede the entry into the marketplace of new and potentially revolutionary drugs due to cronyism and corruption...

While stopping short of accusing the FDA of corruption in its regulation of biosimilar drugs, the agency's motives must be questioned due to what appears to be double-standards when compared with the approval process of other drugs.
