How an Italian judge made the internet illegal

Italian bloggers are up in arms at a court ruling early this year that suggests almost all Italian blogs are illegal. This month, a senior Italian politician went one step further, warning that most web activity is likely to be against the law.

It's happening in Canada as well, just not to as great an extent yet. The feds have taken down a number of websites and jailed the owners because of new "hate speech" laws. Also, a woman was jailed and had her children placed into government custody for re-education because she told them that the Holocaust had been exaggerated.

So much for freedom of speech.
