I always assumed they had these for a quite a while. Since they're now telling the public about it, I wonder what 's really "on the drawing board" by now? Microscopic spy robots?

This is not a new idea... it's older than recorded history. Tiny DNA injection machines have been around for a very long time. They're everywhere! Where do you think viruses came from?
