It took some fancy footwork, but a Goodwill store in Illinois has found the owner of $7,500 in cash who mistakenly turned over the money with a donation of old shoes. A newcomer to the United States from Bulgaria found the money this month on her first day at the Goodwill store in Glen Carbon.

The owner of the cash is lucky that the person who found it was on their first day of the job. Anyone else would have pocketed that find.
