A 74-year-old blind woman has been told a lien will be put on her South Attleboro home if she doesn't come up with a penny she owes on an outstanding utility bill. Eileen Wilbur, of Glenn Street, said she discovered the notice of the potential lien after her daughter, Rose Brederson, came over to read her mail.

Anything less than the cost of sending a letter would make zero sense, or should I say cents...

Bureaucracy run amuck. Large organizations seem to value following the rules to the letter rather than actually thinking. They'd rather have robots working for them than humans. Which will probably be the case soon if Moore's law holds up...
