That sounds like a really bad situation. I think I would have stopped paying the mortgage by now.

I feel sorry for the kids, it sucks not having relatives or family to turn to in a bad situation.

Let me get this straight. The government can give $800 BILLION to bail out the banksters but they can't help Texas clean up after Ike?
