Chinese carmakers SAIC and Dongfeng have plans to acquire GM and Chrysler, China’s 21st Century Business Herald reports today. A National Enquirer the paper is not. It is one of China’s leading business newspapers, with a daily readership in the 3 millions. The paper cites a senior official of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Well I won't be buying GM or Chrysler. If they would just come out with something that was affordable, looked good, and had decent mpg then I wouldn't have bought the Nissan Altima. That car is the total package and was shipped halfway across the world.

they ought to ship the chinese workers here. That way, we get to see first hand what slave labor is like...... we can see the tin shacks they live in too....might as well see the work of our politicans and banksters in bed with them and what their works are doing first hand!
Then we might get mad enough to hang em for betraying us and trading with the enemy, red china who will one day come to invade us anyways, when we can;t pay them back from the worthless dollars they will be holding when it all come scrashing down.

And that is the problem with our country! How does this help Americans? Wait it doesn't just exports more jobs out of the country! And losing more jobs isn't helping the middle class the auto manufacture might as well go under the effects would be the same! America has become one big over priced mall, we make nothing and import everything!!!

The factories would remain here in the US, but we would essentially have 1.3 million workers under control by the Chinese. I think that the US government would buy out GM/Chrysler before they allowed that to happen. Which is essentially what they are doing with the first and coming second $25 Billion loans.
