A powerful earthquake struck western Indonesian Tuesday, killing at least 70 people and injuring hundreds more as buildings collapsed. The 6.3-magnitude quake, which was followed by several strong aftershocks, forced thousands to flee their homes near the epicenter on Sumatra island.
